THE SONIC INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT RULES

The Sonic Invitational will follow the USSSA Baseball Rulebook with the following exceptions:

  1. Time limit of 1hr 50 min for all age groups.

  2. NO pitching limitations.

  3. Number of Innings: For ages 9-10-11-12 will play 6 inning games. Ages 13-14 will play 7 inning games.

  4. Spread Rule will be as follows: 6 inning games 15 after 3, 8 after 5, and 7 inning games 15 after 3, 12 after 4, and 8 after 5.

  5. In case of rain the tournament director has the discretion to change any rule that will allow the tournament to be completed.

  6. The rain out number for the tournament is 816-228-9031 ex.6522

  7. Refund policy: Teams will be charged a $50.00 cancellation fee in the event they cancel at least 3 weeks prior to the tournament. If a team does not give a 3-week notice they will forfeit their entire entry fee. If the tournament director can find a team to replace your team after the cut-off date you will just forfeit your $50.00 administration fee.

  2. Please have players ready 15 minutes before game time. We will try to start early to keep all games on time.
